Made by high quality activated carbon fiber, and very few bonding agents.  Therefore, it has a high level of chlorine and organics absorptive capacity.  

Quick removal of free chlorine trihalomethanes, taste & odor from the water.

Very low pressure drop.  Filters down to 5 micron rating, at flow equivalent to 10  micron traditional carbon block.

Tested and Certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material requirements only.
