TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

  •  Well water filtration with filter

  • TFB25. Filtrated water collection in 1800 m³ water tank

  • 1st Pass R/O feed water supply from the tank with 3 Grundfos pumps, 14.8 m³/hr each.

  • Pretreatment with 3 x TFB14, antiscalant dosing, Bisulfite dosing and filtration with 3 Puro 7×40, 5 μm.

  • 1st Pass: 1st Stage with 1 Vessel of 6 membranes LE-440i. 2nd Stage with 1 Vessel of 6 Membranes XLE440

  • 1st Pass R/O Production, 11,5 m³/hr, 7-10 μS/cm, Recovery 79%. Water Collection in Intermediate Water Tank

  • 2nd pass feed water supply from the Intermediate Water Tank with 3 Grundfos pumps, 11 m³/hr each

  • 2nd Pass R/O: 1 Vessel of 8 membranes LE-440i

  • 2nd Pass Production, 10.8 m³/hr, 0.5-1.3 mS/cm, Recovery 90%. Water Collection in Permeate Water Tank.

  • EDI Units + Mixed Bed Feed Water Supply from Permeate Water Tank with 3 Grundfos pumps 10.6 m³/hr.

  • Deionized water production of 10.1 m³/hr, 0.06 μS/cm, 1.5 ppb Na, 2.3 ppb Silica. Deionized water is stored in two Demi Water tanks, 800 m³, each. EDI’s reject water returns to Intermediate Water Tank.

  • The system consists of two 1st Pass R/O, two 2nd Pass R/O, and two EDI Lines for Redundancy and production capacity of 20.2 m³/hr. Moreover, it includes 2 CIP, 1 for each Pass (In Flush Mode, 1 for each line)

  • PLC Siemens Simatic S7400 x 2 (Redundant). Data transfer through optic fiber to DCS of the Unit.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

Water used for steam generation in power plants (combined cycle plant etc.) requires strict quality standards for purified or deionized water.

TEMAK has carried out numerous water treatment projects producing purified and deionized water in the industry sector as well as in power plants in Greece and abroad. Moreover, TEMAK has significant experience in contemporary technologies used as treatment stages in the production of deionized water, such as ultra-filtration of pre treatment water through ultra-filtration membranes, CEDI (polishing stage) or degassing membranes (stage of removing CO2 from water before it enters CEDI).
